Night Fever

The video Night Fever was made to be projected in a silent room, to increase the atmosphere of the moment just before the party begins. In this dance-floor diorama, one can feel the expectation for something to happen, for people to fill this space. Or it could convey a melancholic feeling, either because the party is over or because nobody showed up.

In the photographic version of Night Fever, two light beams cross a hole and move along the interior of an empty rice package, turned into the image of a ballroom. Two complementary color-light projections that get closer and away from each other registering the passage of time in this nine-shot sequence.
